On Monday, December 20, 2021, the ladies met at Jane's house to add more bulbs to her tree at the front and Sandre commented:
"The lights, they shine in the darkness. I thank you for helping us all to remember our special light Sister and to let our lights continue to shine too.
Blessings and ❤️ love, Sandre"

The Haliburton Lion Tina Hadley wrote a poem in Jane's memory
"Goodbye Dear Friend" by Lion Tina Hadley
The Haliburton Lions added Christmas decorations on Jane's Christmas Decoration Tree in tribute to Lion Jane
The Haliburton Lions also added Christmas balls to Jane's tree in memory of Jane.
The Six Super Sisters started as a Book Club but moved to a monthly get together to share good times and fellowship with each other. Jane was a member of this group. The Six Super Sister included Tina Hadley, Eleanor Patton, Lynn Daniels, Joan Stinson, Linda Heeps and our newest member Gill Stephen. At our December meeting, Lynn lead the group in a Peace Candle ceremony in remembrance of our beloved "sister" Jane who we will see one day on the other side of the rainbow. I know Jane is up in heaven baking treats for us to enjoy when we meet again.
Family members helped the Haliburton Lions celebrate Jane's life by planting an Autumn Blaze Maple tree in Rotary Park in Haliburton (plaque will be added once it is made)
Jane's sister-in-law, Shelley vanNood made three quilts that shares many of Jane's past activities for Jane's husband Don and Jane's two sons, Brandon and Dan
Shelley also made two black teddy bears for Jane's two grandsons that Jane never got to meet. The black fur was made from Jane's beloved black fur coat and the buttons were from Rosa's button collection (Don's mother and the grandchildren's Oma).
